The Mentawai of Indonesia

The third of Guy Needham's Tribal series, The Mentawai of Indonesia, will show in Studio 541 in Auckland from 26 October for three weeks. The exhibition will be a testament to their simple way of life and pure sense of self. The set of monochrome portraits use contrast in a wider sense, echoing the differences between their uncluttered lives and ours.
