Barcelona welcomes The Dani

In a first for Spain, the FotoNostrum House of Photography will be showing The Dani exhibition in September. A select number of the portraits will appear on the Barcelona gallery's walls, accompanied by background on the tribe itself. Unknown to the outside world until 1938, today the Dani still live a simple life and while not isolated from the march of modernity their traditions and values have endured. On show from September 15, the Barcelona exhibition is a testament to the tribe's quiet intensity and subtle momentum.
