The Huli

Western Highlands, Papua New Guinea

Not seen by Europeans until 1935, the Huli have lived for 1000 years in the fertile valleys of Papua New Guinea. Their way of life has changed little from what the first white men encountered, and today they are one of the last remaining tribes that still wear traditional dress.
